What is an NCR Set?<\/strong><\/span>
NCR stands for no carbon required and is simply a set of sheets, two, three or four, that print whatever is written on the top sheet onto those below it. NCR replaced the old carbon sheets that used to be used to be placed between two sheets of paper to do the same job. NCR paper is also known as carbonless paper.<\/p>

What is the difference between Pads and Sets?<\/b><\/span>
Sets are two, three or four sheets of NCR glued together which can be easily separated after you’ve used them for filing (usually giving one to your customer). Pads are simply a group of sets glued again into a small book.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

When will my order be delivered?<\/b><\/span>
\nOur Standard production times are 3 working days from payment, receipt \nof artwork or final proof, whichever is the latter. From there our \nstandard Free Delivery usually takes 3 days so you should receive your \norder in 6 working days. If your order is urgent you can upgrade to next\n day delivery for just \u00a36.95 in which case you should receive your order\n in 3 working days.

How do I submit my artwork?<\/b><\/span>
You can upload your artwork on the product page where you place your order. Please do review our Artwork Guidelines <\/a>before submitting your artwork. If you have problems uploading a file you can always email it to us at info@thepadprinters.co.uk<\/p>

How do I upload my business logo?<\/b><\/span><\/p>

You will need to have an image file of your logo on your computer or device. Click on the ‘Browse’ button under the ‘upload your logo’ section and navigate to the folder to where the image is stored. We can accept .jpeg .jpg .png file formats. If you cant upload a particular file please email it to info@thepadprinters.co.uk<\/a><\/p>

How big should my logo be?<\/b><\/span>
This is most frequently asked question and really depends on the detail of your logo and the file format.<\/p>

PNG files are usually larger than JPG but as a rule in order for your logo to be of decent quality when printed it must be at least 300dpi<\/b> and around 5cm<\/b> wide (that’s about 600px<\/b>). That should put it at between 50<\/b> to 150kb<\/b> (kilobytes) for JPG files and 300<\/b> to 400kb<\/b> for PNG files. Larger file sizes are naturally better quality but please try not to send anything over 1mb<\/b> (megabyte) as this will be much larger than needed.<\/p>

What if I haven\u2019t got any artwork do you offer a design service?<\/b><\/span><\/p><\/div>

Yes we offer \u201cFixed Price\u201d artwork from our in-house design team. Do I need the ‘Sub-Total’ & ‘VAT’ boxes?<\/b><\/span>
Only if you’re VAT registered. If you are a sole trader then you will not require these.<\/p>

Can I change or cancel my order?<\/b><\/span>
We can only make changes prior to artwork approval, once the artwork is approved orders progress very quickly to the printed stage.<\/p>

Will I get a proof?<\/b><\/span>
We offer both email and postal proofs as an optional upgrade which you can choose via the drop down menu when ordering. If you’re not experienced with Print Ready Artwork a proof will give you the peace of mind that the finished job will match your expectations and give you the chance to make any last minute changes to your design.<\/p>

Whose responsibility is to check my artwork?<\/b><\/span>
It is solely your responsibility to check your artwork which means making sure your proof is correct, where required, and also making sure any information you upload is correct. Once your artwork has been confirmed and your job has started no further changes can be made.<\/p>

Will the colour on my screen exactly match the colour of my finished job?<\/b><\/span>
Screens work via the RGB colour system as well as being backlit and so can create very vivid colours that can\u2019t be recreated with an ink print on paper. Paper printing process uses CMYK which results in slight differences when converted from RGB.<\/p>

What payment methods do you accept?<\/b><\/span>
Most customers pay with a debit or credit card and we also accept Paypal.
